The UBC Centre for European Studies invites applications for the UBC Student Research Fellowship. The fellowship supports undergraduate and graduate students pursuing research projects on any topic related to European studies.
Terms of Fellowship
Students selected for the fellowship will have access to the following:
- A stipend of $250.00
- A shared working station in the UBC Centre for European Studies for W2024 T2 (January-April)
- An opportunity to share their research findings with the broader UBC community (public talk, publication on website, etc.)
Eligibility
The UBC Centre for European Studies Student Research Fellowship is available to full time registered undergraduate and graduate students at the UBC Vancouver campus.
How to Apply
A completed application consists of the following:
- Your contact information.
- A letter of intent outlining the title of the research project, its main argument, a timeline detailing the work that will be completed in residency at the centre, and why a fellowship would support the advancement of your project (500-1000 words in length).
- An academic CV/resume.

This competition is now closed. The next competition will open in November 2026.
